Gordon Olson, Principal of ECG, works with global market leaders, emerging technology companies and private equity firms to help them develop business growth and acquisition strategies, develop next-generation products and services, bring new technologies to market, improve profitability and grow market share. Gordon gained his vast industry and management consulting experience working with companies in a broad range of industries throughout his career at ECG, Lockheed Martin, General Electric, Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory and McDonnell Douglas Corporation.
Prior to ECG, Gordon held management positions in strategic and operational planning, program management, financial management, healthcare administration and information systems at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. He worked with GE senior management as a consultant in GE’s Marketing & Strategic Planning and Engineering Consulting Services organization and a Senior Account Manager with GE’s Information Services division. At Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory, Gordon was a Systems Engineer on a team that designed and analyzed ballistic missile defense systems. At McDonnell Douglas, he worked as a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer developing escape procedures for the Gemini B astronauts, designing space vehicle re-entry systems and designing spacecraft/booster separation systems for McDonnell’s space shuttle proposal.
